Description:
It's been called a celebration of taste and technique! We’re talking about the York County Heritage Trust’s Annual Micro Brew Fest where crowds of people join together each year to celebrate York rich’s brewing history.
The Agricultural Industrial Museum (AIM) will once again be the host of this year’s Micro Brew Festival happening on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 7:00pm – 10:00pm. In the past, record numbers of guests have attended this event to partake in taste-testing enticing microbrews from many local breweries. This year, ticket holders will enjoy tantalizing beer and ale in souvenir glasses, delicious BBQ food, and toe-tapping entertainment from the local rock band, the Bottomfeeders! New this year: souvenir t-shirts featuring Ben Franklin's famous beer quote!
Also new this year will be a Home Brewers Tasting. We hope to open our doors to members of the home brewing community who want to show off their uniquely brewed blends. If you are interested in submitting an entry to our Home Brewer's Tasting, download the following form and submit with two bottles of your home brew.
HOME BREWER'S TASTING APPLICATION

I wasn't very fond of this event. All beer that was there you can easily get locally. Magic Hat, Yuengling, Budweiser "micros", etc. I'd avoid this, unless it gets bigger, which I doubt, considering the space.
