Description:
This is Midnight Sun's first beer brewed with hop extract. We choose Amarillo for its floral, tropical and citrus properties. OB8 was also dry-hopped with Bravo hops for aroma to complement the beer's hop flavor and bitterness.

Appearance - 5.0
Pours a massive creamy white head that leaves tons of lace on the inside of the glass. The beer is clear with a golden-orange hue.
Aroma - 4.0
The aroma is a blend of peach, orange and citrus. There is little to no malt presence in the aroma.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Medium in body with moderate carbonation and some creaminess. The mouth feels covered in hops oils after swallowing.
Taste - 3.5
A hugely hoppy brew. Citrus and light toasty notes show up first followed by a bright orange flavor. A strong bitterness paired with a little alcohol finishes up the beer.
Overall - 3.5
This beer is a tongue bruiser. The hops dominate your palate. I enjoyed this beer and look forward to more in the series. My favorite thus far still has been Obliteration V.
