Description:
This is the popular C-Note’s big brother. It has a caramel malty body with an extremely intense hop profile. Brewed with all seven of the "C" hops - Crystal, Cluster, Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, Columbus and Challenger - it has a piney, resiny flavor. This is the only Lompoc holiday beer sold in bottles.

Appearance - 4.5
Pours an inch of off-white head with good retention. The lace that clings to the sides of the glass as the head falls is abundant. The beer is clear with a copper hue.
Aroma - 4.0
The nose is a wonderful mix of sweet caramel and hoppiness. I get a mix of pine, grapefruit, and citrus.
Mouthfeel - 4.5
Medium in body with ample carbonation. There is lots of slick hop resin present, while still maintaining a somewhat creamy feel.
Taste - 4.5
The beer begins with some light toffee and caramel malt flavors. It's quick overrun by an army of hops. Grapefruit stands out the most with citrus complements. The pine from the nose is also present, but just subtle notes. It finishes with a big hops bitterness along with some caramel flavors that struggle and fail to cut all of the bitterness.
Overall - 4.5
This is a hoppy monster for sure, that will annihilate your palette. The malts do a good job of balancing the hops, while still letting them shine.
