TASTING NOTES
Pours golden with orange highlights. Smells alluringly sweet like caramel apples with a little spice and orange zest. Taste is bold and balanced with a good amount of citrus and earthy hop bitters to offset the bready, sweet malt character. Finishes dry with a bit of fruit.
MALTS
Pale with small amounts of Munich and Crystal
HOPS
Bittered with Centennial, finished with Amarillo and Styrian Golding

Appearance - 4.5
Pours a 1/2 inch of creamy white head which as great retention. As it slowly fades there is plenty of sticky lace present. The beer is mostly clear and copper in color.
Aroma - 3.0
The aroma has some caramel like sweetness and notes of citrus. Unfortunately it's rather muted.
Mouthfeel - 3.0
Medium in body and slightly syrupy with moderate carbonation.
Taste - 2.5
A sweet, syrupy, candy like start followed by some caramel malts. I get some very light citrus notes and then an unpleasant sweet/flowery combo along with some alcohol burn. Sort of reminds me of cough syrup towards the end.
Overall - 2.5
Not a fan of this beer at all. I've enjoyed some of their other beers, but I'm content with skipping this one in the future.
