Appearance - 4.5
Pours dark brown and mostly opaque. It produces an inch of tan head that has nice legs and leaves some sticky lacing.
Aroma - 3.5
Brown sugar and roasted malts make up the aroma.
Mouthfeel - 4.5
Medium in body with light-medium carbonation. It's got a nice creamy feel.
Taste - 4.0
Light brown sugar up front followed by a nice roasted malt presence. A little bit of chocolate shows up near the finish.
Overall - 4.0
This is my 2nd beer from Ninkasi and it's another good beer. I look forward to trying more of their lineup.
