Appearance - 4.5
Pours a half inch of fluffy white head. As the head fades it leaves some nice lacing. The beer is clear and light golden-orange in color.
Aroma - 4.0
The nose is very aromatic, the Citra hops stick out the most. There is also a little bit of orange and grainy scents.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Light-medium in body with good carbonation. The hops make this one pretty bitter and it sticks to the inside of your mouth.
Taste - 3.5
The taste is predominately hops. Unfortunately the Citra isn't showcased as well here, I get a large bitterness up front with light citrus followed by some flowery hops. There is a little bit of a grainy flavor(the pils I presume) followed by some more bitterness and a little bit of alcohol heat.
Overall - 3.5
Not my favorite of the scratch IPAs so far, but not the worst, I'd put it somewhere in the middle. They need to make their scratch #35 their seasonal or year round IPA. That beer was great.
