Created by American homebrewers looking for more flavorful beer, the American brown ale style is intended to be a stronger, hoppier alternative to the classic English style. We use crystal and pale chocolate malts to provide a rich malt character which includes flavors of caramel, chocolate, and hazelnut while Simcoe and Cascade hops add aromas of pine and citrus.
