On June 28 2010, Hildegard gained with her latest creation, Urthel Saisonnière, the prestigious World Beer Award 2010 for Europe's Best Seasonal Pale Ale. This is something to be proud of. And, of course, we are.

Urthel Saisonnière, brewed since November 2009, is a top-fermented blond Special Ale with refermentation from bottle (bottle conditioned). Urthel Saisonnière is unfiltered so the best of the malts and hops stays here it belongs. In the beer. It has a wide pallet of the finest rich aromas and a full subtle bitter taste. That makes Urthel Saisonnière a thirst-quenchener of 6.0% ABV with a "bite".

Nicely poured in its origanal extraordinary glass Urthel Saisonnière becomes a beautiful foam head. This is due to the 20% of wheat which is used.
