Epiphany: The English word “epiphany” literally means “manifestation,” or “brightness,” or “showing forth.” St. Boniface's Epiphany attempts to capture the light of this “showing forth.” The beer has a subtle, yet pervasive sweetness typical of the Belgian dubbel style. It also has notes of caramel and fruit to accompany the traditionally velvety Belgian mouth feel. For a celebratory beer, it is very drinkable — hearty enough for a high feast yet modest enough for humbler occasions.
