Odd Notion Winter '10

Appearance - 4.5

Pours a huge off-white head when introduced to a pint glass. The head has good retention and leaves clumpy lacing. The beer is clear and amber in color with visible carbonation.

Aroma - 2.5

The nose has some bisquity and sweet malts with a hint of pepper and vegetation.

Mouthfeel - 3.0

Light in body with active carbonation. A bit thinner that I would have expected for this style.

Taste - 2.0

I can't get much of anything out of the taste. It reminds me of seltzer water with mild flavoring. There is a little bit of sweetness and some flowery flavors, but nothing to write home about.

Overall - 2.5

It's very boring and lacks in the aroma and taste departments. If you haven't tried this one, you aren't missing out. To be fair it is past it's fresh date by a month, but I can't imagine it would have changed that much.
