Appearance - 5.0
Pours 2 fingers of creamy white head into a pint glass. The head has great retention and leaves plenty of sticky lacing. The beer has a pale gold complexion with hints of orange. There is visible carbonation.
Aroma - 5.0
The hops are immediately noticeable as soon as this is poured into a glass. A combination of grapefruit, orange and fresh cut grass make up the aroma.
Mouthfeel - 5.0
Light in body with crisp active carbonation.
Taste - 4.5
Upon the first sip there are some biscuit like flavors followed up by light orange flavors. It's finishes with an infusion of citrusy and grassy hops leaving a pleasant light bitterness.
Overall - 4.5
This is a solid American Pale Ale. There is a great showcase of assertive hops in the nose with a perfect blend of flavors. It's not overly bitter, and is extremely refreshing. Would love to see this distributed in my neck of the woods.
