Appearance - 4.0
It pours a small white head that quickly dissolves leaving streaks of lace. The beer is hazy and has a light golden-orange hue.
Aroma - 4.5
The nose is full of American hops that can be smelled immediately as it's poured into the glass. I can recognize what I think is Amarillo or Simcoe, probably used as a dry hop. I get some tropical aromas like pineapple as well as some citrus notes.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Medium in body with moderate carbonation. It's bone dry.
Taste - 4.0
Bready malts with sweet notes up front followed by an army of American hops. Tangerine followed by citrus with a piny medium bitter finish. A little heat in the finish, but for the most part the alcohol is well hidden.
Overall - 4.0
This beer provides a varied and interesting hop profile. It goes down very easily. I've loved all of 3 Floyd's hopped up beers, and this one doesn't let me down.
