Appearance - 4.0
pours an inch of fluffy white head that has some decent retention and leaves a little bit of lacing. The beer itself looks gorgeous with a dark copper hue.
Aroma - 3.5
Cinnamon, spicy hops, and a caramel like sweetness make up the nose.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Medium in body with an active carbonation. It's got a slightly syrupy feel to it.
Taste - 4.0
This beer gets it right when it comes to balance. It starts out with some sweet caramel followed by some darker malts. The hops pick up towards the middle with a nice piny flavor. It finishes bitter with a bit of smokiness. The alcohol is hidden very well.
Overall - 4.0
A very decent beer. It's perfectly balanced and is sure to satisfy most parties who enjoy a nice big red ale.
