Appearance - 3.5
Surprisingly amber orange in color, almost as if it were a pale ale.
Aroma - 3.0
Seemingly sour to smell, and thoroughy spicy.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
Bubbly and smooth, as you would expect a beer to be.
Taste - 4.0
Spicier than your typical lager, without a high gravity. Slightly sweet, with a carmel taste to match its color.
Overall - 3.5
This seasonal lager has more in commmon with a Pale Ale than an early spring lager. It has a satisfying bite, but it leaves me wanting a slightly more substantial ale than this overmanipulated lager.
