Pours 1 finger of white head that has a decent retention and leaves some nice lacing. The beer is clear and burnt orange in color.
Aroma - 3.5
Some spicy hops and a bit of citrus combined with the typical Belgian yeast esters.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
Medium in body with moderate carbonation. Slightly slick from the hops oil.
Taste - 3.5
The flavor from the Belgian yeast stands out first combined with some citrus and pine. It finishes with a nice bitterness and a slight alcohol presence.
Overall - 3.5
An interesting blend of Belgian and American styles. The Belgian yeast delivers the fruity esters and some spiciness that pairs well with the American hops.
