Appearance - 4.5
Had this on tap at a local restaurant. It poured 1 inch of fluffy white head that had good retention and left lots of lacing. The beer was clear and copper in color.
Aroma - 4.5
A nice hoppy aroma. Plenty of pine, flower, and citrus combined with light caramel malt.
Mouthfeel - 4.5
Medium in body with lots of hops resin that coats the mouth.
Taste - 4.5
The taste is dominated by hops. A combination of pine, flowers and citrus. There is some light breadiness and caramelized malts present, but they are runners up to the hops. It finishes nice and bitter and lingers long into the aftertaste.
Overall - 5.0
An absolutely delicious imperial IPA. Similar to their Maharaja Imperial IPA but a bit less extreme and more drinkable. Although this one will still dominate the palette.
