Description:
A light copper body low bitterness with good hop flavor. This is my impression of what the English troops may have been drinking when they occupied India. The pale ale they drank had mellowed considerably. The wooden casks had spent many months traveling on ships and long inland journeys to the troops, where they were then tapped and enjoyed.

Appearance - 3.5
Pours about 1 1/2 inches of fizzy white head that slowly dissipates leaving some clingy lacing. The beer is a hazy amber, leaning more towards orange.
Aroma - 3.0
A nice waft of caramel and a bit of pine make up the nose.
Mouthfeel - 2.5
Light in body and a bit over carbonated, it stings the tongue. Has a crisp feeling.
Taste - 3.0
Some pale and biscuit malts up front. That is followed by some grassy and piny hops. Some malts show up in the finish to balance it out, yet a tiny bitterness still makes it's way through in the aftertaste.
Overall - 3.0
An average IPA. The carbonation ruined it a bit for me, if it had a little less carbonation, it would get a few more notches on the score card.
