Appearance - 3.5
Poured about 1/2 inch of soapy white head that dissipates quickly leaving little lacing. The beer itself is a brilliant amber/copper color with lots of visible carbonation.
Aroma - 2.0
Like their oatmeal stout, it has a very weak aroma. A small amount of caramel and a slight fruitiness.
Mouthfeel - 3.0
Light in body with active carbonation. It's very clean and crisp.
Taste - 3.0
A light sweetness from the caramel malts and a good bit of hops. The hops leave a small bitterness. Overall a fairly uninteresting taste.
Overall - 3.0
Nothing special about this brew, just your run of the mill pale ale.
