Description:
A deep-red, full-bodied, malty ale heavily hopped with Centennial hops to produce a citrusy, spruce-like flavor and aroma. A final dose of Centennail hops in the conditioning tank lends an India Pale Ale-like aroma to the finished beer.

Appearance - 4.5
Pours 1 1/2 inches of creamy beige head that has a great retention and leaves plenty of lace. The beer is a dark amber in color.
Aroma - 3.5
A nice hoppy aroma combined with sweet caramel and toffee.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
Medium in body with good carbonation and has a creamy feel to it.
Taste - 3.5
Much like the aroma. Sweet caramel and toffee up front followed by a nice amount of citrusy and piny hops. A nice mix of malts and hops.
Overall - 4.0
Even though it's called a brown ale, I would consider it more of a hoppier red ale. It's very tasty and I would certainly try it again.
