Appearance - 3.5
Pours 1 inch of light tan head that fades pretty quick but leaves a nice ring of lace. The beer is reddish-brown in color.
Aroma - 3.5
An interesting blend of citrus, nuttiness, and light chocolate.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
Medium in body, lightly carbonated with a creamy smoothness.
Taste - 3.5
A little bit of citrus up front followed by notes of chocolate and cocoa. It finishes with a mix of nuttiness and citrus hoppiness. The hops beat out the malts in the finish, but not by much.
Overall - 3.5
This is a great blend of Brown Ale/IPA. It's also very drinkable. If you've tried DFH Indian Brown Ale and enjoyed it, chances are you'll love this one too.
