Description:
Duck-Rabbit Amber Ale is a medium bodied beer with a lovely tawny copper or bronze color. This brew emphasizes malt complexity with layered caramel malt flavors. We put a lot of effort into getting this amber ale just right and we're extremely proud of the result!

Appearance - 3.0
Pours 1 finger of off-white head that fades quickly without much lacing. The beer has a nice dark amber appearance.
Aroma - 2.5
A bit of caramel, but not a whole lot else. A bit underwhelming.
Mouthfeel - 2.5
Light in body with moderate carbonation. Feels a tad too watery for my liking.
Taste - 3.0
The malts hit first, pale and caramel. Then comes a small amount of hops and a spiciness that finishes it off. I can taste a bit of nuttiness in the aftertaste.
Overall - 3.0
Not bad, but not great, just average. I have heard good things about their milk stout and porter, so I'll have to give them a try next. It's a pretty drinkable beer, but I think I'll pass on this in the future.
