Appearance - 4.0
Pours a light golden-orange with a 1/2 inch of white head sitting on top. Lots of carbonation bubbles are present. The head sticks a round for a good bit and coats the inside of the glass nicely.
Aroma - 4.0
This beer packs a nice citrus aroma with tiny notes of pine. There's also a pleasant caramel malt present.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Medium in body with moderate carbonation. It's got a creamy feel in the mouth.
Taste - 4.0
The taste begins with some biscuit like malts followed quickly by a barrage of hops. The hops first provide a citrus flavor, then a danky fruitiness before ending in a piny bitterness. There's a light caramel malt backbone present throughout.
Overall - 4.0
This is an excellent example of an American IPA. Hop forward, yet it still holds a foothold in balance with the malts.
