Description:
This beer is brewed during the hop harvest with a portion of unkilned or “wet” hops fresh off the vine. Apricot in color, Broo Doo’s nose has dominant orange, pine sap and floral notes, balanced by a glazed nut and toffee malt body. This celebration of the hop harvest has intense tropical fruit, citrus and spicy accents that showcase the complexity of the hops we all love.

Appearance - 5.0
Pours a big creamy off-white head that's got great retention and leaves plenty of lacing. The beer is a medium golden-orange with lots of visible carbonation.
Aroma - 4.5
Citrus, bubble gum, and cotton candy. This is one of the most unique aromas I've gotten from a harvest ale.
Mouthfeel - 5.0
Medium in body with active carbonation that fits it well.
Taste - 4.5
The malts certainly take a back seat in this beer. Some bitterness up front followed by light citrus, cotton candy and bubble gum, just like the nose. A grapefruit character rounds off the flavors along with some nice bitter notes.
Overall - 4.5
Unique hop flavors and aromas make this a very delicious and interesting harvest ale. Don't let the cute label fool you, this is an excellent, bold beer!
