Description:
India Pale Ales, or IPA’s, were brewed for British soldiers stationed in India. These ales needed to higher in alcohol and have more hops than normal to survive the long journey, and ours is no exception. Brewed with Belgian and German malts and dry hopped with loads of Cascades, our version honors our friend who had his own grueling journey involving a boat and cold water!

Appearance - 3.5
Had this on tap at The Livery. Pours 1 finger of white head that leaves some nice lacing and has a decent retention. The beer is a hazy golden orange.
Aroma - 4.0
Some pine and floral hops mixed in with a little bit of lemon and citrus. Some sweet malts make their appearance in the background.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
A nice mouth feel, medium in body and goes down smooth.
Taste - 4.5
Begins with a little bit of citrus followed by the sweet malts. Next up are some pine and floral hops and it finishes with a blast of grapefruit from the cascade hops. Has a slightly bitter finish.
Overall - 4.0
An excellent example of an American IPA. Hop heads won't be disappointed with this one.
