Description:
Our namesake IPA is a Northwest classic. Generous additions of Amarillo, Centennial, and Ahtanum hops find their way into the kettle, hop-back, and dry-hop. This judicious use of the "brewers spice" creates rich and resinous flavors of citrus fruit and pine. The finest organic Canadian pilsner malt and organic German Munich and Caramunich malts then bring balance to your new favorite beer.

Appearance - 4.0
On tap at the brewpub. This beer pours a brilliant medium golden-orange. It's clear and produces an inch of white head. As the head recedes it leaves some nice lacing.
Aroma - 3.0
The aroma seemed to be a little muted. The most prominent smell was citrus, but there was also a very light caramel in the background.
Mouthfeel - 4.5
Light to medium in body with nice crisp carbonation. Just about perfect for the style.
Taste - 4.5
The taste is a delicious concoction of orange and piny hops. Throughout this beer there are hints of pale and caramel malts. It finishes with a medium bitterness that lasts into the aftertaste.
Overall - 4.0
This is a very delicious IPA. It's got great North West hops flavor and isn't too bitter to be enjoyable. Give this one a try.
