Appearance - 3.0
Medium ststured tan head that is a combo of large and small bubbles, retention is fair, lace is scattered. Clear brown in color.
Aroma - 3.5
Malty, fruity nose with notes of honey and faint rye.
Mouthfeel - 3.0
Medium body, lightly oily on the palate with a gentle carbonation
Taste - 3.0
Sweet malts are bready, pleasently fruity with some spicey notes as well, rye? Notes of raisins, light vinous notes as well. Sweet malty finish.
Overall - 3.0
Another interesting brew from the folks at Dogfish Head. Though you need to be a malt lover for this one. Just an OK beer imho.
