Appearance - 4.5
Tried this on draft. It pours a light tan head that has very nice retention and leaves a good bit of lacing. The beer is clear and has a very dark red/brown color.
Aroma - 4.0
A nice subtle aroma that leaves you guessing. There is a decent sweet malt presence, but in the background are some citrus scents along with some pine.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Medium in body with good carbonation. Slightly creamy with a bit of hops oil present.
Taste - 4.5
A nice combination of malts and hops. Up front are some lightly roasted malts mixed in with some caramelized ones. It's followed up by some earthly hops and then a good deal of citrus flavor.
Overall - 4.5
A unique combination of flavors that makes me crave the next sip. Very well done, I'd certainly drink this again.
