Appearance - 3.5
A nice clear brown colour with a bit of amber to it. An off white head that leaves some lacing around the glass.
Aroma - 3.5
Very malty aroma with a bit of nuttyness.
Mouthfeel - 3.0
A nice medium mouthfeel with just the right amount of cabonation.
Taste - 2.5
Bit of maltyness with a hint of bitter chocolate due to the strong up front hoppyness. The hoppy flavour lingers towards the end of the drink.
Overall - 3.0
Alright tasting, the hops do over power it for the most part.

Pours a brown color with red hues throughout when held to the light. It gives about one figers worth of off white head that settles quickly leaving very little lacing.
Aroma - 3.0
Has a nice sweet malty aroma. Can make out chocolate anda nuttiness.
Mouthfeel - 3.0
Very well carbonated, a medium bodied beer with a slightly watery feel.
Taste - 3.0
Get some chocolate flavor and sweet caramel malts out of the taste, but it is mostly dominated by the hoppy end. The hops linger and tingle on your tounge. I usually expect brown ales to be less hoppy and more smooth and malty.
Overall - 3.0
The malt/hops combination isn't balanced well with the hops overpowering the brew. Not a bad drink, but not a very good brown ale.
