Appearance - 4.5

Pours about an inch of dark brown head that settles fairly quickly. Leaves spotty lacing as the head disappears. The beer is pitch black with no light coming through at all.

Aroma - 4.0

Chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. Mostly dominated by malts with a tiny bit of hops showing up.

Mouthfeel - 5.0

A full bodied beer with a nice creamy, smooth feeling to it. Light-medium carbonation.

Taste - 4.0

A bit of fruity sourness up front followed immediately by bitter sweet chocolate and roasted malts. It has a nice sweet milk stout flavor in the finish.

Overall - 4.0

Not quite what I expected. I thought it would have more chocolate in the flavor. Instead it has it's own unique twist to it. I'd get it again for sure.
