1/4 inchof light tan headfades pretty quickly leaving a lgiht ring of lace around the inside of the glass. The beer is a clear reddish-brown with emphasis on the red.

Aroma - 3.0

Pretty mild aroma. There's some light roasted malts and hints of chocolate.

Mouthfeel - 4.5

On the heavier side of medium. The oatmeal gives it a slightly chewy, and creamy feel. Carbonated nicely.

Taste - 4.0

Despite the lack of a nice nose, it does pack a good bit of flavor. It starts out with some chocolate before melting into light coffee flavors. There's a little bit of roasted malt before te hops round out the end, giving it a complementing bitterness to the beer.

Overall - 4.0

This is a very quaffable beer. IT has a great taste and goes down smooth. A very nice porter.

Strong bitter malt aroma with a very mild sweetness.

Mouthfeel - 3.5

A bit thick in the mouth with a medium amount of carbonation.

Taste - 3.5

Nice up front malty flavour followed by a hoppy aftertaste. A hint of sweet malt aftertaste as well like a maple syrup or brown sugar.

Overall - 3.5

Overall a pretty good full flavored porter.
