Description:
(White of Chambly) was the first bottle
refermented ale produced by Unibroue. It is
brewed from a blend of pale barley malt,
wheat malt and unmalted wheat, to which
we blend selected spices and hops.
Blanche de Chambly is only partially filtered,
retaining its natural cloud of yeast that is
characteristic of the original white ales
brewed during the Middle Ages.
We recommend this remarkably refreshing

Appearance - 3.5
Slightly cloudy with a small head which quickly dissipates. A pale yellow that is easy on the eyes.
Aroma - 3.0
A sour aroma with a slight sweetness to it. Strangely reminding me of fresh sourdough bread.
Mouthfeel - 2.5
A fairly watery but full feeling. Some carbonation fizzing in your mouth.
Taste - 3.0
Fairly light in flavour at first, An almost lemony flavour near the end.
Overall - 3.0
Not a bad beer at all. Not my favorite from Unibroue though.
