Appearance - 5.0
Pours 2 fingers of sticky white head that has a great retention and sticks all over the glass. The beer is a slightly hazy and amber/orange in color.
Aroma - 4.5
A pretty bold nose consisting of orange, caramel and plenty of grapefruit.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Light-medium in body with good carbonation. It's got a somewhat creamy feel to it.
Taste - 5.0
All the hops are up front. It starts out with some citrus and lemon followed up by a nice grapefruit bite. It finishes with some caramel malt to balance out some of the hops.
Overall - 5.0
A very refreshing, tasty west coast IPA. It comes in a can which makes it easier to pack and can be taken to the beach and camping. I bought a 6-er, but may have to pick up a case!
