Okay, so this might not be your traditional beer review, but the other night we had a barbecue, and for dessert we had pints of this beer, each with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Double Chocolate Stout floats. I kid you not, an amazing dessert. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Dark brown to black in color with a small medium tan head. Chocolate and roasted malts in the aroma. Medium to full in body. The taste is similar to the nose with a malty sweetness.

Definitely very dark. Looking very black in a glass or mug, with a dark mocha head.
Aroma - 4.0
Smells of roasted malts and a hint of dark chocolate.
Mouthfeel - 3.0
Pretty thick feeling with a light carbonation.
Taste - 4.0
A strong bitterness mixed in with slightly nutty chocolate taste. The bitterness lingers for a while a coffee bean flavour lingers.
Overall - 3.5
While this beer is good and does provide some dark chocolate flavour, it reminds me more of a black coffee roast with some Bakers chocolate mixed in.
