Deep orange, even with hues of brown. The head is fluffly and think, slightly brown in color. A clean glass will bubble for hours.
Aroma - 4.0
Citrus and vanilla notes bubble to the top of this winter ale. The spiciness is only hinted to the nose.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Like it's Pale Ale cousin, there is a good carbonation to this beer. With it's retaining head, I got a slightly creamy texture in my pint glass.
Taste - 4.5
At first the spiciness of a dry-hopped beer stings my palate. But I progress I taste the carmely sweetness in waves, alternating with the orange peel flavors. Definetely some carmel to this barley, alternating endlessly with the dry hops and citrus.
Overall - 4.0
For a hoppy beer, this winter warmer retains the sweetness of a winter warmer. If you enjoy it's namesake as much as I do, you're bound to appreciate the crafty care put into making this mellow, tasty beverage.

Get about an inch of off-white head from the pour. It has a nice retention and leaves generous lacing. The beer is a Nice dark orange with a bit of red. Lots of carbonation bubbles are present.

Medium in body with good carbonation. Dry and s small bit of creaminess.
Taste - 4.0
Some bisquit like malts up front followed by some sweet malts. The hops kick in with a little bit of orange and pine. It's pulled together by a pleasant spiciness in the finish. Not overly bitter, but enough to make it enjoyable.
Overall - 4.0
A perfect IPA for the winter time. A good mix of malts, hops and spices that produces a delicious brew.
