Appearance - 3.5
Pours a small tan head that dissipates quickly leaving little to no lacing. The beer is dark with ruby highlights throughout.
Aroma - 2.5
Some roasted malts and a hint of cherry. Overall the aroma is pretty underwhelming.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
Medium in body and nice and smooth. Moderate carbonation.
Taste - 2.5
Some roasted malts and chocolate/coffee flavors in the front. The rest of the taste is dominated by sweet tart cherries. In my option the sweet tart flavor overpowers the beer and ruins it for me.
Overall - 2.5
Not too fond of this stout, bit too much cherry for my taste.
