Appearance - 3.5
A thick caramel coffee coloured head, with heavy streaking down the glass. Very dark near black colour.
Aroma - 3.5
Heavy roasted malt aroma with hints of coffee.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
A bit thick with light carbonation.
Taste - 4.0
Mostly roasted malts as the flavour, a hint of coffee as an after taste with a very subtle hint of sweetness mixed with bitter hop taste at the end.
Overall - 3.5
A pretty good stout. The hoppy bitterness starts to subside as you get about half way through the bottle
