The days are long but the season is short. So what gives? Sleep! After doing more before midnight than most Outsiders do in a week, Alaskans deserve some down time. And these moments of relaxation demand more than that ordinary, non-distinct lawn mower beer. Celebrate a day well done with a beer done well—a seriously delicious IPA with some scorchin’ hops.
Our new seasonal double IPA is designed to keep you incredibly hopped up spring through summer.

Appearance - 4.5
Pours 2 fingers of white head that sticks around for awhile and leaves lots of lacing. It is clear and golden-amber in color with some carbonation bubbles visible.
Aroma - 3.5
Caramel is the first thing picked up, but then is quickly overpowered by the piny hops which dominate the aroma.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. It has a fairly slick feel to it.
Taste - 4.0
The label describes it best, "India Pale Ale with Scorchin' Hops". As noted in the aroma there is a small amount of caramel malt before the hops hit. It really does feel like it's scorching your mouth/throat as the piny hops hit. A true hop bomb. As it warms, the caramel malt becomes more apparent in the flavor, but the hops never let up.
Overall - 4.0
The hops tip the scale on this brew, leaving the malts in the dust. It's a great tasting DIPA for all of the hops heads out there(myself included).
