Appearance - 4.0
Serving type was a bottle poured into a pint glass. It poured a vary dark color with a redish/purplish tint. There was a small amount of tannish head that dissapated fairly quickly. There is a small amount of lacing as well.
Aroma - 5.0
Has a chocloate smell with the subtle scent of raspberries. Can also barely make out some hops.
Mouthfeel - 3.0
Is lightly caronated with a very smooth mouthfeel. Although a little watery, similar to their Raspberry Wheat.
Taste - 3.0
It starts out with a chocolate roasted malt flavor, and is followed by the subtle taste of raspberries. It ends with some slightly bitter hops.
Overall - 3.0
Overall not a bad beer. It certainly is unique in style. The smell is great, but unfortunately the taste doesn't quite live up to the aroma. It's still a very drinkable beer that I would try again.
