Description:
Back by popular demand, our original "Wild Dog Release" is back, and this time it's for good. Double Dog Double Pale Ale is a generously hopped ale with a deep red color and pours with a nice frothy head. The abundance of hops will conjure some provocative aromas with hints of raisins and citrus.

Appearance - 4.0
Pours one finger of off-white head that settles fairly quickly but leaves good lacing. It has a dark copper color that is slightly hazy.
Aroma - 5.0
Sweet caramel malt, citrus, grapefruit and piny hops make up the aroma. Excellent smell.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
A medium bodied beer. Has a syrupy feel to it, with a good amount of carbonation.
Taste - 3.5
Has a more of a malty profile, with the sweet caramel malts up front remaining pretty thick throughout. The hops hit towards the end with a citrus flavor and bitterness. It has a pretty alcoholic sting at the end and leaves your mouth dry.
Overall - 3.5
It's pretty big at 11.5% alcohol and is more of a slow sipping beer. I wouldn't have more than one of these in a sitting.
