Appearance - 3.5
Nice dark tanned head. A nice deep maple brown body.
Aroma - 3.5
Definite roasted malts. Light aroma of black coffee from the chicory and coffee flavors added.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Nice mouthfeel, a bit full feeling but not to thick.
Taste - 4.5
Sweet malty aroma that leaves with a light bitterness and strong good coffee after-taste. Bit of a smoked flavour as well.
Overall - 4.0
An enjoyable stout with some good espresso like coffee flavour. Enough mouthfeel to not seem watery.
