Description:

Often called “mild” if it is on draft, brown ale is a walnut-colored specialty of the North of England. A festive-occasion beer, brown ale is one of the oldest English brewing styles, mentioned in literature in the 16th century. Beers brewed at the old brewery have a round, nutty flavor because of the Yorkshire square system of fermentation.

A nice dark caramel color with about a 1 finger head. It's dark but still see through. The head is a a tan color and there is only a little lacing.

A caramel malt aroma with a hint of nuttiness

Mouthfeel - 5.0

Has a smooth, lightly carbonated feel.

Taste - 4.0

Has a malty taste in the front followed by nuts, then a dry finish. Midly bitter at the end.
