Appearance - 4.0
Pours 2 fingers of tan-ish head with decent retention and leaves a little bit of lacing as it settles. The beer is a dark brownish red, but light enough to see through.
Aroma - 2.0
Not a whole lot in the aroma department, there is the scent of roasted malts but that's about where it stops.
Mouthfeel - 3.0
A medium-bodied beer with a pretty smooth feel to it. There is a pretty high amount of carbonation, probably a bit too much.
Taste - 3.0
Roasted malts make up the first half of the beer. The latter half is bitter leaving a somewhat sour taste in your mouth.
Overall - 3.0
Not a bad seasonal offering, but nothing spectacular. It was a good beer to try, but I don't think I'll be picking it up again.
