Description:

In 1888, After enduring one of the coldest winters on record, the employees of Jacob Leinenkugel's spring brewery crafted their first seasonal beer to celebrate the coming of spring. They blended dark and pale roasted malted barley with select hops and allowed for longer aging to create a robust beer with an exceptionally creamy head. Unchanged since 1888, You'll find our bock's sturdy bod and deep color perfect to draw you out of one season and the into next.

Appearance - 4.0

A nice medium-dark clear shade of brown with a nice off white head.

Aroma - 4.5

Nice floral notes, with a light fruity melon. Mixes to create an almost apple like smell.

Mouthfeel - 4.0

Medium amounts of carbonatinon and a mouthfeel that isn't heavy or light, but very drinkable.

Taste - 3.5

A nice mix of floral, hoppy, and malty flavours all at once without being to strong. It ends with a light hoppy bitterness, and malty aftertaste.

Overall - 4.0

Overall it's a nice beer for the spring time, that isn't to heavy in the stomach and a nice aroma and flavour to greet this season.
