Appearance - 4.0
A nice semi-thick darker head, about the color of light mocha. A nice deep ruby body with plenty of carbonation rising to the top.
Aroma - 3.5
Heavy malt aroma with some dark roast coffee mixed in.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
Lighter in the mouth than most stouts, with a light to medium amount of carbonation.
Taste - 4.0
Definitely a bit of a creamy taste that gives it a bit of a sweeter taste than normal stouts. Does give a nice bitter finish to balance out the sweetness.
Overall - 4.0
Overall a nice beer, that I would definitely try again. It can be on the pricey side though.
