Appearance - 5.0
Pours a deep black with an inch of creamy mocha head with wonderful retention. It leaves globs of lace as it settles.
Aroma - 4.0
The aroma has a sweet cherry smell combined with some roastiness. I didn't expect the cherry at all.
Mouthfeel - 5.0
Medium to full in body with moderate carbonation. The mouthfeel has a great creaminess.
Taste - 4.0
Malt sweetness and light cherry notes are present first followed by a hops/coffee bitterness combination. Roasty flavors show up in the finish.
Overall - 4.0
A very nice beer, much better than the normal Export Stout and way better than Draught.
