Irish Red

Appearance - 4.0

Poured into a pint glass it produces a nice inch of off-white head. It has a nice retention and leaves some decent lacing. The beer is clear and dark red in color.

Aroma - 3.0

Light sweetness and toasted malts make up the aroma.

Mouthfeel - 3.5

Light to medium in body with good carbonation.

Taste - 2.5

Sweet and malty up front followed by some toffee and caramel. There is a light hops presence that comes in towards the end to add balance. The finish is sweet.

Overall - 3.0

I thought this one was a little too sweet in the taste, one was enough for me. I've had a few beers of this style, but didn't care too much for this one.
