Description:
The Beast is a seducer - accommodating, complicated, powerful, dark and created to last the ages. With a deep burgundy color and aromas of honey, nutmeg, mandarin orange and pineapple, this massive and challenging brew has flavors akin to a beautiful Carribean rum. Dates, plums, raisins and molasses are dominant in a rich vinous texture. Cellarable for 10+ years.

Appearance - 3.5
Pours 1 finger of white head that doesn't stick around too long and leaves little lacing, not surprising considering the alcohol content. The beer is relatively clear and is a deep red in color.
Aroma - 3.0
Very boozy aroma, with brown sugar, and tons of sweet malt.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
Full-bodied beer with moderate carbonation. It's pretty syrupy and thick in the mouth.
Taste - 3.5
This one is a sipper for sure. Lots of alcohol and dark fruits like plum and raisin. It's got a good amount of sweetness just like the aroma. It leaves lots of alcohol heat as it goes down.
Overall - 3.5
This is one big beer, that's hard to hide the high alcohol content. The bottle says it can be cellared for 10+ years and I can believe it. I think this would get better after 2 or 3 years of aging.
